Eddie Chan is a senior lecturer in the Department of Finance of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a member of some other professional bodies, such as Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, CPA Australia and Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Prior to joining the academic field, he was a senior executive of an international securities firm for many years. In this regards, he has good understanding of the commercial world and of the academic field and can be the bridge of the two in order to further strengthen and promote financial planning industry.
