Associate Member (General)
Requirement
- Individuals who complete Module 1 PLUS any one other modules of the IFPHK Registered CFPCM Certification Education Program OR received credentials for the IFPHK Registered CFPCM Certification Education Program by Transcript Review ** OR
- Individuals who possess recognized professional qualifications approved by IFPHK OR
- Individuals who possess overseas CFP certification recognized by Financial Planning Standard Board Ltd. (FPSB)
**Individuals who satisfy the education requirements and have sufficient qualified working experiences may apply for the professional designation "Associate Personal Financial Planner (APFP)"

Renewal
- A renewal packet will be sent to members before 31 December.
The membership fee for newly join Associate (General) Member is:
- For full year membership: a one-off application fee of HK$300 plus annual membership fee of HK$600 for application submitted between January and June.
- For half year membership: a one-off application fee of HK$300 plus the half-year membership fee of HK$300 for application submitted between July and December.
- Current associate members may continue to enjoy the annual membership fee at HK$300 in 2008. When current associate members renew for their 2009 associate membership, the annual membership fee will be adjusted to HK$600 per year.
- Members who hold more than one IFPHK membership in 2007 are only required to renew their highest membership for their 2008 membership (except FAIQ Joint Associate Member of CII and IFPHK).
To renew your associate membership, all holders must, on an annual basis, make a Voluntary Disclosure to IFPHK on any public, civil, criminal or disciplinary actions that may have been taken against them in the previous year.
