In order to inculcate the benefits of financial planning, and provide avenues for interested students to pursue a career in financial planning, IFPHK offers student memberships.
There are 3 sub-categories for student membership, including:

Student Registrant

1. Students who have enrolled the IFPHK Registered CFP Certification Education Program with the seven approved education providers listed below can apply as a Student Registrant.
2. Once an individual is successfully admitted as a student of the Education Program, the approved education providers
   will inform IFPHK. IFPHK will issue a confirmation to those successfully admitted students and the membership will be concurrently approved.
3. This membership is complimentary and will be expired once all 4 papers of the CFP Certification Examination have been completed.

University Student
Full time students studying bachelor degree programs (or above) at local universities

Student (General)
Individuals who are interested to learn more about the financial planning industry
