Mr. Steve Chiu has close to 30 years of wealth and asset management experience, and has been a CFP certificant since 2001. He is currently Senior Vice President and Head of Hong Kong Retail at PIMCO Asia Limited, and was previously Vice President, Investment Funds at Manulife Asset Management (Hong Kong).  Prior to that Mr. Chiu held senior management roles at Bosera Asset Management (International), AIA Wealth Management, Invesco Asset Management, HSBC Retail Banking and HSBC Asset Management.  He holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Mr. Joseph Chan was appointed the Under Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury on 16 August 2017.

Mr. Chan has many years of senior executive experience in the banking industry. He was a Managing Director in the Global Markets Division of Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, and was a Managing Director in Financial Markets of Standard Chartered Bank.

Prior to joining the Government, Mr. Chan held multiple roles in a number of public and professional bodies, including Vice President of the Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts, Director of Hong Kong Securities & Investment Institute, Advisor of the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange Society, as well as a General Committee member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Chan was also a member of the Central & Western District Council.

Mr. Chan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Hon) and Psychology from the University of Michigan, USA. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr. Stephen Po is currently the Executive Director, Market Conduct of the Insurance Authority, Hong Kong.  Mr. Po mainly oversees the regulation of conduct of insurance intermediaries. Scope of coverage includes licensing, inspection, investigation and complaints handling in order to strive for the highest standards of conduct, ethics and integrity of insurance intermediaries.

Mr. Po was formerly the Senior Director and head of the Intermediaries Supervision Department of the Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”), Hong Kong.  Mr. Po was also the Chairman of Committee on the Regulation of Market Intermediaries of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (“IOSCO”) for 7 years from 2009 to 2016, responsible for setting conduct and prudential standards on the regulation of market intermediaries in a cross border environment.

Mr. Po is a qualified accountant and holds a MBA and BBA degree.

Mr. Edmond Lau is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of HKMC Annuity Limited, responsible for the launch of a life annuity scheme in order to strengthen the retirement protection for the elderly. Prior to joining the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) in 1997, he was an Administrative Officer of the Hong Kong Government. From 2007 to 2013, Mr. Lau was the Executive Director of the HKMA and Hong Kong Note Printing Limited,  overseeing the Monetary and Financial Stability Policy, as well as the development of the financial market..

Mr. Lau graduated from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) with a Bachelor Degree in Social Science (Economics). Thereafter in 2016, he obtained a Master Degree in Social Work from the HKU and subsequently joined Stewards as the Chief Executive until September 2017.

Mr. Mathias Helleu is the co-founder and Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of 8 Securities which is licensed and operates in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Prior to this, Mr. Helleu ran E*TRADE's international online investing services in 15 geographies. In 2000, he led E*TRADE for being one of the first online investing services in Hong Kong.

In 2012, Mr. Helleu established 8 Securities to launch Asia's very first robo-advisor and mobile first investing service to better serve Hong Kong's Millennials and Generation Z. Recently, 8 Securities group and Nomura Asset Management formed strategic partnership to kick start new digital wealth management services including robo advisory and mobile investing solutions for millennials.

Dr. Anthony Lee is a specialist physician turned hospital administrator.  Back in the 1970’s as a senior lecturer of the Department of Medicine in the University of Hong Kong specializing in rheumatology and clinical immunology, he pioneered in clinical research in rheumatic diseases and hepatitis B diseases in Hong Kong. Subsequently he practiced as a consultant rheumatologist in Hong Kong and in Melbourne, Australia, for a number of years. During this period he had become familiarized with the public and private healthcare systems in the two cities. In 1996 he returned to Hong Kong to take up the helm as Chief Hospital Manager & Medical Director of the Union Hospital and has successfully transformed the hospital into one renowned for its quality service. Currently he is also Chairman of the Hong Kong Private Hospitals Association.

In 2017, he was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) by the Hong Kong SAR Government for his long and meritorious public and community service, particularly his significant contributions to the healthcare development in Hong Kong.

Mr. Gin Lee has a rich experience in wealth management and investment services industry. He acquired his bachelor degree of Quantitative Finance at CUHK and possesses professional qualifications including CFP certification and MHKSI, etc. He is also appointed as an independent non-executive director of listed company in Hong Kong and SFC licenses representative.

Mr. Lee has been invited as lecturer of the continuous education course of IFPHK. He is also regularly recognized as guest speaker for local and mainland universities and high schools, and regular investment columnist of financial websites and magazines. He is currently a member of Financial Education for Working Adults working group of Investor Education Centre (IEC), a subsidiary of Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), to help formulate the first Hong Kong Financial Competency Framework.

Ms. Xanne Leo has 16 years of experience in the financial service industry in South East Asia. Started her career in Great Easter Life Assurance (Singapore) in 2003, Ms. Leo subsequently went on to join the first Independent Financial Advisory (IFA) firm in Singapore in 2006 as a pioneer in this field. Specialising in estate planning and generational wealth transfer, Ms. Leo joined a top European Trust company with 26 offices worldwide and advised on various aspects of cross border wealth management strategies and solutions for HNWI and families in Asia.

When the opportunity came, Ms. Leo moved into corporate advisory and deal sourcing for cross border M&A and business growth. Ms. Leo brings invaluable insights in the area of assets transfer and protection and leadership to the Infinitus Blockchain team in the consumer technology space.

Mr. Paul Pong is the Managing Director of Pegasus Fund Managers Limited, Executive Director of China International Finance Ltd (Listed on HKEX main board) and Chairman of Shenzhen Qianhai Prudence Investment Fund Management Company Limited. He has been working in the fund management industry over 30 years. He is also a non-official member of Human Capital Committee of the Financial Services Development Council, a member of Advisory Committee of Hang Seng Indexes Co. Ltd., a member of Academic and Accreditation Advisory Committee of Securities and Futures Commission, Chairman of Institute of Financial Technologists of Asia Ltd, Vice President of Hong Kong Shanxi Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Henry Shin is the Chief Executive Officer of Convoy Financial Services Limited, a subsidiary of Convoy Global Holdings Limited, and is responsible for managing the consultancy team and refining business development system for the Group. He is also the director of certain subsidiaries of the Company. Mr. Shin graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University in 1998. In the same year, he joined Convoy Financial Services Limited as a Financial Consultant and was promoted to Deputy Director in 2005. He has many years of experience in business development and team management. He once held the position of President of Lions Clubs of Happy Valley International District 303 – Hong Kong and Macau and now he is a core member of various social service organizations.

Mr. Lewis Tse is the Immediate Past President of The Life Underwriters Association of Hong Kong (LUAHK) and the Senior Agency Director of Chubb Life Insurance Company Limited. With over 30 years of experience in insurance and financial planning, Mr. Tse devotes himself to the development of sustainable prosperity for the insurance industry.

During his tenure at the LUAHK as the member of Executive Committee and President, he has been involved in several industry projects, including the establishment of Insurance Authority, formulation of the code of conduct, Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme (VHIS) and regulations for the MPF intermediaries, etc. Mr. Tse is now the Convener of Insurance Industry Regulatory & Development Concern Group (ICG).

He is a CFPCM certificant and holder of Chartered Financial Consultant qualification, and was previous a member of Insurance Training Board of Vocational Training Council (VTC).

Mr. Philip Tso joined AllianzGI in October 2017 and is responsible for guiding AllianzGI’s strategy in Asia Pacific in delivering the firm’s best-in-class investment advice and diverse solutions to institutional investors. He also heads the Hong Kong institutional business to focus on expanding the distribution, deepening the client penetration of our business and promoting thought leadership. In addition, he drives the consultant strategy in Asia Pacific and works closely with consultants to help developing innovative ideas for investors.

Before joining AllianzGI, Mr. Tso worked at Willis Towers Watson as Director, Head of Investments in Hong Kong. He has been a member of the Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee since 2013.

Dr. Cheney Tsoi is currently the President of Hongkong Blockchain Asset Management Co., Ltd. Dr. Tsoi called together many top academic experts to set up Asia Blockchain Society in April 2018. Asia Blockchain Society aims to promote academic communication and commercial applications of Blockchain in Asia area, and provides customized and independent solutions for financial institutions and Blockchain companies. In 2014, Dr. Tsoi published a book named Bitcoin is changing the world which is the first Bitcoin book in Southeast Asia. In 2017, Dr. Tsoi published another book named Decode Wealth Inheritance.

Dr. Collin Wong has over 10 years of academic and administrative experience in higher education. She has extensive experience in research on multidisciplinary topics relating to Business Logistics Planning and Design; Knowledge Management and Decision Support System; e-Business Management; Airport and Airfreight Planning and Management; Greater Bay Area and Belt and Road Initiatives studies.

Dr. Wong has been successfully awarded many external grants amounted over ten million dollars. In 2016-18, she and her colleagues published four research reports: (1) Logistics and Trade Facilitation in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Bay Area; (2) Preventing Marginalization in Air Passenger and Freight Business; (3) Impact of Cabotage Relaxation and PRD Competition to Hong Kong’s Maritime Logistics Industry; (4) Collaboration at the Hong Kong Port – Benefits from Facility Sharing. The research reports were widely covered by over 10 international and local media.

Ms. Julia Wong joined Principal as Managing Director of Pension Sales & Distribution in 2017. She is responsible for driving the growth of pension business in Hong Kong through the strategic partnership with AXA Hong Kong.

Prior to joining Principal, Ms. Wong was the General Manager of Shandong Branch of Manulife - Sinochem Life Insurance Co., Ltd, managing the business start-up and expansion of eight major cities in Shandong of Mainland China from 2011 to 2016.

Before engaging in life insurance development in Mainland China, Ms. Wong has over 30 years industry experience in pension (MPF & ORSO), employee benefits, agency development, distribution management and M&A in Hong Kong. She held various senior management positions in leading financial companies including AIA, Zurich Insurance, Sun Life Financial and BestServe Financial Ltd.
