Candidacy

The Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong is the marks licensing authority for the CFP^® marks and AFP^® marks in Hong Kong and Macau, through agreement with Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd.

It is compulsory for all individuals to maintain a valid candidacy status with IFPHK before they are eligible to proceed with the AFP Certification or CFP Certification.

Upon successful application for Candidacy with the IFPHK, the IFPHK will grant the Candidate a complimentary student membership under IFPHK’s Articles of Association.
